Cancer Consortium Pilot Awards
Release Date: 1/3/19
Application Due Date: 3/4/19
Funds are available from the Fred Hutch/University of Washington Cancer Consortium (“The Consortium”) Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) and Safeway, Inc. to support cancer-related pilot projects. This competition will provide awards of up to $80,000 direct costs for one year to support pilot projects. Consortium members are eligible for this pilot funding (see Application Process section B of RFA for more details).
There are no limitations on research topic, as long as the problem under study is focused on cancer. Highly innovative concepts that have the potential to improve the lives of cancer patients are encouraged. Also included in this competition are four categories targeted as areas of special interest to the Cancer Consortium: Global Health research, Health Disparities research, Cross-Disciplinary Translational research, and Safeway Early Career Awards (see Guidelines section #3 of RFA).
Applications are to be submitted as a single pdf file to sp-CCSGPilotAwd@fredhutch.org by 5:00 pm on Monday, March 4.
