The Clinical Informatics Shared Resource provides services to achieve the following goals:

  • Aggregate data from diverse sources to support transplant and solid tumor research
  • Provide informatics support to collect, store, process, and deliver research data
  • Support interoperability between informatics systems by complying with evolving standards

Data Linking

Connection of UW/SCCA appointments, laboratory information, pathology, billing, imaging, cancer and tumor registries, research protocols, and subject enrollment.


Data Queries

Data is available for clinical care, administration, reviews preparatory to research, and research. Use of data for research requires IRB approval. Read more ยป


Research Data Consent

The goal is to approach every patient seen at the SCCA for consent of medical record use for research and future contact. Currently, all transplant and a majority of solid tumor patients are approached.
