P30 Acknowledgement Update

Dear Cancer Consortium member,

I’m writing to you to ask that you acknowledge the Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) in your publications. This critical infrastructure grant, which comes with our federal designation as a comprehensive cancer center, supports the Cancer Consortium through Shared Resources cores, Developmental Funds for Pilot and New Investigator Awards, and Consortium leadership. The level of funding we received on this grant is determined by the science it supports, and that, in turn, is determined by acknowledging its use.

Recommended language can be found here at the Cancer Consortium website and, additionally, Shared Resources cores supported through the CCSG will be reminding users to acknowledge the CCSG in their publications.

Please join me in ensuring that the publication record of the Fred Hutch/University of Washington Cancer Consortium accurately reflects our all of our endeavors in cancer research excellence and that proper attribution is given to the Cancer Center Support Grant.
